Therefore, the way of a mentor is to define goals in consensus with you and then give you a plan of action to achieve them.
A counsellor is a medically certified professional who can help you deal with mental health and personality issues. It is important to remember that ‘while coaching can be therapeutic, it is not therapy’. It is only a counsellor who has the expertise and the authority to handle an individual with a mental health requirement. The way of a counsellor is based on medical models and treatments.
